So often in this business everything is rushed rushed rushed. Clients need designs…printers need corrected artwork…everyone is in a rush to meet a deadline. I always get the “Thanks you for your excellent work.” type statements. But this week one of my long running clients took a few minutes to tell me how much they liked my work. Aside from graphic work I also produce a weekly eNews blast for them.  So- because I like to brag- I thought I would post it here!

Dear Andrew,
Most of the time, folks take the time to bitch to me or complain.  Rarely do they take the time to tell me if OkEq is doing something right.

For some reason in the last few weeks I have had more than a few folks tell me how nice and professional the Enews looks.

Some long time supporters, a few of our community leaders, and one or two newbies have expressed to me positively their appreciation.

However, what has been the most encouraging Andrew, has been the accolades our media contacts have expressed.
In the last 3 weeks I have heard from the following individuals in regards to your superior graphics and layout:

Editor Mary Bishop with the Tulsa World, she oversees the obit section and the “local” section of our daily newspaper.  She takes your Enews and posts all the activities and upcoming events on their community page. She feels it really looks “top notch”, her words.

Thom Golden editor with Oklahoma Magazine told me on New Years Eve at the Mayo Hotel that he thought the Enews looks the best it ever has.

This week James the marketing director for Urban Tulsa complimented your design on the Wild Hearts Weekend postcard and the Enews
And finally Chaz Ward with the Metro Star  told me Tuesday your postcard for Wild Hearts was impressive and that he gets lots of stories for his publication from the Enews.  He had no idea you were the one doing the Enews.  He said it looks the best it has in 6 years.
Thank you for your valuable contribution to Oklahomans for Equality. I mean it sincerely, you have made all the difference in the world.

Toby
President of Oklahoman’s for Equality
